Driver personalization system

The Driver Personalization System consists of three functions that combine to deliver a greater experience of connection between car and driver and facilitate safer and more stress-free driving for each individual driver: automatic driving position guidance, automatic setting recovery, and driver entry/exit assist. This makes it easy for drivers to achieve the ideal driving position so they can experience Celebrate Driving from the moment the car starts to move.

12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster

We increased the size of the instrument cluster TFT screen from 7” (the size of the display on our 7G small lineup) to a full LCD 12.3” display. As well as being compatible with Driving Assist Mode and safety warning display, the full LCD instrument cluster also works with our Driver Personalization System, which optimizes display visibility for individual drivers

Panoramic Sunroof

The CX-60 features a panoramic roof that offers a wide field of view and brings plenty of light into the cabin. The 950 mm (W) x 1,021 mm (L) panoramic roof and its peripheral parts were meticulously designed to allocate as much surface area to the window as possible to increase the field of view and light range for passengers in the rear seats.

Driver Monitoring

Driver Monitoring

Driver Monitoring is a system which detects driver fatigue and sleepiness, and encourages the driver to take a rest. While driving the vehicle at about 5 km/h (3 mph) or faster, the DM detects changes in the driver's facial features using the driver monitoring camera. The system then estimates the amount of accumulated fatigue and sleepiness of the driver and encourages the driver to take a rest using a warning indication in the instrument cluster and a warning sound.

BSM & RCTA

BLIND SPOT MONITORING AND REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (BSM & RCTA)

BSM and RCTA use the same sensor to alert the driver when detecting vehicles approaching from the rear and both sides of the blind spot. RCTA is active when the car is in reverse. Warnings are provided through blinking indicators on the side mirrors and through sound.

Cruising and Traffic Support (CTS)

CRUISING AND TRAFFIC SUPPORT (CTS)

CTS is a system consisting of acceleration control function and steering assist function to reduce driver fatigue when driving on freeways or highways. The system performs acceleration control to maintain a constant distance between your vehicle and the one in front at a predetermined speed without you having to use the gas pedal or brakes. Furthermore, with the presence of the steering assist function, when the vehicle's lane lines are detected, this function helps the driver keep the vehicle within the lane. If the lane lines are not detected, this function provides driving assistance to the driver in keeping the vehicle within the lane moving with the vehicle in front.

MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC)

Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) uses millimeter waves to measure speed and distance, allowing it to maintain a safe following distance from the car in front and reduce the driver's workload during the journey.

LDWS

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS)

This sophisticated system will alert the driver if a lane change is detected without using the turn signal, enabling the driver to make immediate steering corrections. LDWS recognizes lane markings on the road surface.

Lane keep Assist System (LAS)

Lane keep Assist System (LAS)

This system works in conjunction with the LDWS feature, which assists the driver by automatically controlling the steering to stay in the lane if the vehicle is detected drifting out of the lane by recognizing lane markings on the road surface.
